The Importance of Social and Emotional Learning

Schools who teach their students on the importance of social and emotional learning, will create an environment of equitable learning practices, such as more consciousness of oneself, improvement on self-regulation and judgement, and better social awareness and relationships. As the results students will project empathy to other students and the community in which they live (CASEL, n.d.).
